About Us

Anthea Benjamin established Sleeping Babies Australia when she discovered, that while there are some services available for parents of babies with sleep problems, there is a real need for a personalised, one-on-one, in-home service.

“For several years now, I have been working in the Baby Sleep Clinic in a public hospital. It is a great service. Mothers come to the clinic with their baby and stay for 2 nights. During their stay, they are shown an age appropriate routine for their baby as well as settling techniques and how to get their baby to sleep through the night.

While this is a great service, it doesn't suit everyone. It may be difficult for some mothers to leave home for 2 days and nights. Mothers who have older children will need to organise someone to take care of the rest of their household while they stay in hospital. Some mums just don't like the idea of staying in hospital.
The clinic has a 1 nurse to 3 mums and 3 babies ratio.
Unfortunately there is also a waiting list for this service that can be 3-4 months long at times.

We offer the same great service and results, but instead of the mums and babies going into hospital, we go to them.

Sleeping Babies Australia offers a personalised, one-on-one, in-home service that gets results”.
